Product Lines: Porcelain Enamel Signage and Wall Panel Systems

Unerectors was founded as a porcelain enamel panel and signage company to meet the needs of a growing specialty field. Over a quarter of a century later, this specialty product still remains in strong demand. Porcelain enamel is a major design component of the mass transit system in the Boston area. The architectural panel systems and signage can be seen throughout all of Boston's MBTA lines — Red, Blue, Green, Orange, and Silver — and Unerectors has been actively involved in furnishing and installing the station finishes on all of these major MBTA lines.
Porcelain enamel signage and panels are manufactured by fusing the porcelain enamel coating to all areas of the metal piece according to stringent specifications. Major attributes of porcelain enamel are superior weatherability, gloss retention, color permanence, and easy cleanability. It is a hard, impervious surface that will withstand sun, rain, snow, dust, and industrial conditions, lasting the lifetime of the building or site that it is erected on. Porcelain enamel panels and signage can be fabricated to detailed customer specifications and with strict adherence to the high standards set by the Porcelain Enamel Institute.
